Ozonabbauende Substanzen
Chemisch synthetisierte Stoffe, welche die Ozonschicht schädigen, werden ozonabbauende Substanzen (ODS) genannt. Es handelt sich hierbei um halogenierte Chemikalien, zu denen unter anderem die Fluorchlorkohlenwasserstoffe (FCKW), teilhalogenierte Fluorchlorkohlenwasserstoffe (HFCKW), Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe (Halone) und bestimmte andere Stoffe gehören.
