Many countries have committed to climate targets and aim at greenhouse gas emission reductions. Measures reducing the emissions of F-gases, ODS and other fluorinated gases also contribute to climate protection.
Different ways might result in the reduction of use and emissions of ODS and fluorinated greenhouse gases. Such measures include for example
- Information and awareness raising
- Training of technicians
- Legislative measures like restrictions or bans of certain substances or certain applications
We advise decision-makers when it comes to selecting and designing policy measures and their legal implementation.
Capacity Building
The implementation of measures reducing use and emission of ODS and fluorinated greenhouse gases require a detailed expertise and information of all stakeholders.
We engage in capacity building activities on related matters, e.g. workshops, conferences.
